Traffic Notice: Fiber Construction on S 300 E

LightStream will be completing fiber-optic construction along S 300 E between E Smithson Road and E 400 S in Monticello, Indiana.

Construction Schedule

Dates: Tuesday, November 10 through Thursday, November 12, 2026
Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily
Location: S 300 E, between E Smithson Road and E 400 S
Area of Work: West side of S 300 E

During construction, motorists may encounter traffic control personnel, advance warning signs, construction equipment, and temporary traffic restrictions as crews work along the roadway.

Residents along the construction area will continue to have access to their properties, and affected gravel driveways will be restored following the fiber installation.

We ask everyone traveling through the area to slow down, follow posted signs and directions from traffic-control personnel, and use extra caution around crews and equipment.
