LightStream™ is proud to support our local schools and higher education by awarding up to 5 $1,000 scholarships to 1 or more students from the below schools. See the details below for our Scholarship program. Please call (574) 278-7121 or email us with any questions.

Interested in Telecommunications? We’re now offering a scholarship to Lincoln Trail College specifically for students interested in joining the telecommunications industry.

Applicable Eligibility

Be a graduating senior from a state-accredited:

• High school
• Home school

Applicant’s parent(s) or legal guardian must be a:

• Customer as of the beginning of current school year
• Current customer of LightStream™

Become a student attending an accredited:

• College
• Technical school

To Apply

Submit an online application from the above link.

• Complete the scholarship application
• Attach copies of:
  • High School transcripts or equivalent
  • A senior picture (Winners will be published)
• Submit a 1-page essay that describes:
  • Your education goals
  • The importance of this scholarship
  • What your next 10 years may look like

Only digital applications will be reviewed. Deadline to submit is March 31, 2024.

Award Procedure

The LightStream™ Board of Directors:

• • Will select winners
  • Reserve the right to withhold any or all scholarships

The scholarship presentation may be at the applicant’s school awards program.

The Award

• Must be claimed by December 31, 2024
• A W-9 form will be submitted to the applicant in the year it is paid

Award Payment

After proof of:

• 1st semester completion
• 2nd semester enrollment

Awarding of payment will be submitted to applicant’s accredited:

• College
• Technical school
