The Pulaski/White Rural Telephone Cooperative (PWRTC), dba LightStream, Board of Directors is excited to announce it has named Brent Gillum to serve as CEO. Brent will be responsible for leading the company’s efforts to build a future-focused fiber optic network to deliver the latest communications and entertainment services.
Over the past decade, Brent has served in the positions of IT Manager and most recently, Director of Operations. He has played an instrumental role in LightStream’s network improvements, from designing a new central office and data center and streamlining operations processes, to managing the buildout of the company’s fiber network. Prior to joining LightStream, he implemented and managed IT networks for Adkev, Inc., LandecAg, Inc. and DuPont Photomasks. Brent began his career in the Information Management Division of the United States Air Force, proudly serving his country for eight years.
“During the last six months as Interim CEO, Brent has demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills in managing the LightStream team.” said Board Chairman, Mike McCormick. “With his operational experience, technical breadth and passion for customer care, we are confident that LightStream will achieve its aggressive goals and initiatives.”
