Senator Mike Braun Advocates for Rural Broadband at LightStream

The acquisition of Monon Telephone Company, Inc. (Monon, IN) by LightStream (Buffalo, IN) has now been approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The initial announcement was made on December 1, 2023. Monon Telephone Company will conduct business under the operation of LightStream effective July 31, 2024.

LightStream (Buffalo, IN) has agreed to purchase Monon Telephone Company, Inc. (Monon, IN). The purchase will further add to LightStream’s existing fiber network in White and Pulaski Counties.

LightStream is excited to announce it has achieved its long-term goal of building a 100% fiber optic network.
