LightStream Announces 2025 Winamac Expansion Construction

LightStream is excited to expand our fiber optic network to the west of Winamac. Construction has begun and is expected to be completed in Spring 2025. To receive our fiber optic line, you must provide authorization by way of our online form.

The upgrade to a fiber network is a substantial improvement to your community with the fastest and most reliable internet available at up to 1,000 Mbps. We also offer the best Managed WiFi service for residential and small business customers that provides WiFi to your entire building. In addition, we will still offer telephone services – all through fiber. Due to many changes in the television industry, we no longer offer our own television service. However, many streaming options exist, and we can help you choose the best option if you would like our help.

• We want to run a fiber optic line underground to your house/building at no charge to you.
• If you defer, then there may be an installation charge if you should desire service in the future.
• There is no obligation to buy service now or in the future.
• If you agree to receive a fiber line, then we need your approval to install the line and notified of any special items underground that would not be found by the locates (sprinkler, invisible dog fence, electrical to outbuilding, etc).

You don’t need to know now if you want LightStream service. You can still have the fiber optic line run to your house or business with no obligation to buy service now or in the future. However, if you defer, then there may be an installation charge if you desire service in the future.
